According to legend, before the wedding of King Henry VI and Marguerite de Valois, the bride requested to attend the ceremony unrecognized. In response, the king issued a royal decree calling on weavers to invent a fabric that was transparent, yet concealed the wearer’s face. The wedding was postponed until the perfect textile was found — and it was the town of Tulle that delivered. This moment marked the beginning of tulle's story.
Over time, tulle became a beloved material in fashion, weddings, and home decor thanks to its versatility and light, elegant appearance.
